Rufus Wainwright est un auteur compositeur interprète new-yorkais. Multi-instrumentiste, cet artiste chante aussi bien en français qu’en anglais. Il enchaine les albums depuis 1998 et n’hésite pas à reprendre des chansons mythiques telles que Hallelujah de Léonard Cohen ou encore A cross the Universe de John Lennon.
